Dawn Dreyfuss writes because she wants people to know about God's love. That's also why she gives to CBN.

"CBN is a great ministry," says Dawn. "They do so many things all over the world. People are getting saved; people are getting helped. What more can you ask than that, you know, to get involved with a ministry like that?"

Dawn believes that through her obedience to give to her church and ministries like CBN, God has blessed she and her husband, John. It's something she learned years ago.

"I really wanted to be a part of it," Dawn recalls. "I wanted to test God like it says in Malachi. I wanted to take Him up on it and see if He's really going to do that for me."

And over the years she says God always proved faithful -- like in 2012, when she lost her job in telephone sales.

"Normally if you're let go from a company, you're going to get upset," Dawn says, "but somehow I knew in my heart that God had something else for me much better. So I went home and I prayed about it. And I sensed that God wanted me to do something more."

Dawn says that "something" was to write a book. In the meantime, she kept tithing and giving to CBN.

"I was like I don't care, I'm still giving no matter what!" Dawn exclaims. "I'm giving to CBN. I love it; I love what they do. And it doesn't seem right to me not to give. I want to be a part of everything CBN's doing. So I continued to give and God continued to be faithful and provided for me."

After finishing her book, Dawn started looking for part-time work so she could still have time to write.

"I sat down and I prayed exactly what I wanted," Dawn remembers. ""I said, "Lord, I would like a job close to the house. I would like something that is not much drama and the people are not crazy.""

On her very next interview she was hired as an administrative assistant. Dawn says it's the perfect job for her.

"No drama, nice people; I can't be more pleased."

Dawn sees her new job as just one more example of how God provides.

"If I have to say one thing about God, God is faithful," Dawn says. "He is so spectacular, there's not even words that you could ever describe how good God is."

Being obedient to God's truth made an incredible difference for Dawn. She made herself available for God's love to flow through her to others, and she is reaping a blessing herself as well.
